Happy New Year And So On...

My virtual(haha) friend Sam(http://themusingsofsamboy.blogspot.com/) do this thing called Fill in the blanks Friday and I wanted to join for this time, so here we are.

1.   New Years is
not a big deal for me. I really dont like the "lets get drunk as much as we can only because it is a new years eve"spirit so I dont celebrate it much. Well of course I like to party and be with my friends but I dont need it this particular day.

2.   One of my New Year's resolutions will be   study harder(again, haha),less internet -more books, stay fit and travel more.Actually I´ve decided that I want to visit as many castles and chateaux as possible, I´ve just realised how interesting they are.

3.  A New Year's resolution I've made in the past was to   lose weight(haha silly me.D)and study harder(epic fail)

4. The most time consuming resolution I ever made was  - I have no idea.

5.  This year I will be spending New Year's Eve   -I can tell you, how I spend this NYE since I´m filling this the day after. I´ve cleaned the apartment a little, made some muffins, bread with eggplant and garlic, made a sangria and watched movies with my sweetheart Lenny, cats and our friend George. We had a walk in the middle of the night, climbed to a little peak and watched fireworks in our city.It was just fine!:)

6.  If I could wish one thing for my new year it would be   have a healthy family(I mean it) .

7.  2012 is going to be    great  .

Happy new year everyone!

P.S. I´ll do a Christmas post later and I guess I have some unfinished business with african posts too, so stay tuned!

Lame-check!:D

About Warsaw and these days..

We spent a weekend in Warsaw(Poland) in November. It was so damn cold!Much much much worse than here in Czech republic. We arrived at 11th, it was an Independence day - not a nice festival, so many fascist and also some antifa´s, the whole situation was pretty crazy. We met our friend Karolina there who showed us our accommodation - three great apartments. We should go there next time too, it was nice and cheap and the location was great too. We went to Poland because of Bodyart tattoo convention, which was held in very interesting Russian building and we enjoyed it. I went there with my beloved Lenny and our friend George and there we met our friends Lukas, Zbyna and Ales. I cant even describe how much fun we had(especially in the train back home).I´m glad that I could see again my Polish friends - greetings to everyone guys!I miss you.

 Lame. I know. :D

And some news from these days- as you probably already know, I´ve moved to Lennys place. Its a change and I actually like it.The only thing which makes me sad is that I dont see my cats who still lives in Horka with my mom. And I miss my mom too but we see each other more than before so its actually not so bad for our relationship. I work a lot these days, I have to start with some school work,it´s getting harder and harder. I´m really looking foreward to upcoming Christmas, yaaaay. You know that I simply LOVE THEM!!
I miss my baby:(

Cape town

About trip to Cape town. We were there for 4 days, we flew there from Johannesburg and stayed at one very interesting place. It was a home of Ruth - my aunt´s friend, who lives in Alphenvale village(check it here: http://www.alphenvale.com/ ,really do it). It is a retirement village and I guess that everyone would love to live there. We arrived pretty late on a first day- sunday, so we just went to a dinner at lovely Sue´s house, who is Ruth´s daughter. Dinner was very nice, mainly because Sue´s daughters are also vegetarians so it was such a nice time to meet these people with my family(who could see that I´m not the only "crazy" one). On Monday we had a great opportunity to visit vineyard and wine cellar of Constantia Groot(http://www.grootconstantia.co.za/ check it, very beautiful place with delicious wines). They say you can see baboons on that vineyard, too bad I didnt see any. Well I´ve learned so much about cultivation of a wine. Because of the great weather we went to a Table mountain. One of the best places I´ve ever been at. Just breathtaking. We were in South Africa in the beginning of their spring so in Cape town the weather was very cold in the morning and evening but we were lucky enough during the day and had like 25°C. No need to say about Table mountain more, just check some pictures below. Later that day we went to another place - Hout bay. We walked on the beach and just chill. I wouldn´t mind living there. Next day we went to Kirstenbosch botanical garden. Amazing piece of nature.http://www.sanbi.org/gardens/kirstenbosch . You can find better pictures on google. We were there for a quite a long time, we visited to exhibitions there. After that we went to Simon´s town(info here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon's_Town ) where are those famous colorful little beachhouses. WE had a lovely lunch there and after that we went to the Boulders Beach which is famous for penguins. I just love them. It was very windy there so we didnt spent so much time there. After that we went to the Waterfront - part of Cape town. I wanted to see "2 oceans aquarium",which was very interesting, too bad that we were there very late so we had to "run" through the whole thing. We had to see all of this in just 2 days, because on Sunday we arrived too late and on Wednesday we had to leave early. So imaginary hat in front of my auntie - thanks to her we could see everything. And thats all about a trip tothe Cape town. Next post about Africa will be about trip to Kruger park, you shouldn´t miss that.
