About trip to Cape town. We were there for 4 days, we flew there from Johannesburg and stayed at one very interesting place. It was a home of Ruth - my aunt´s friend, who lives in Alphenvale village(check it here:
http://www.alphenvale.com/ ,really do it). It is a retirement village and I guess that everyone would love to live there. We arrived pretty late on a first day- sunday, so we just went to a dinner at lovely Sue´s house, who is Ruth´s daughter. Dinner was very nice, mainly because Sue´s daughters are also vegetarians so it was such a nice time to meet these people with my family(who could see that I´m not the only "crazy" one). On Monday we had a great opportunity to visit vineyard and wine cellar of Constantia Groot(http://www.grootconstantia.co.za/ check it, very beautiful place with delicious wines). They say you can see baboons on that vineyard, too bad I didnt see any. Well I´ve learned so much about cultivation of a wine. Because of the great weather we went to a Table mountain. One of the best places I´ve ever been at. Just breathtaking. We were in South Africa in the beginning of their spring so in Cape town the weather was very cold in the morning and evening but we were lucky enough during the day and had like 25°C. No need to say about Table mountain more, just check some pictures below. Later that day we went to another place - Hout bay. We walked on the beach and just chill. I wouldn´t mind living there. Next day we went to Kirstenbosch botanical garden. Amazing piece of nature.http://www.sanbi.org/gardens/kirstenbosch . You can find better pictures on google. We were there for a quite a long time, we visited to exhibitions there. After that we went to Simon´s town(info here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon's_Town ) where are those famous colorful little beachhouses. WE had a lovely lunch there and after that we went to the Boulders Beach which is famous for penguins. I just love them. It was very windy there so we didnt spent so much time there. After that we went to the Waterfront - part of Cape town. I wanted to see "2 oceans aquarium",which was very interesting, too bad that we were there very late so we had to "run" through the whole thing. We had to see all of this in just 2 days, because on Sunday we arrived too late and on Wednesday we had to leave early. So imaginary hat in front of my auntie - thanks to her we could see everything. And thats all about a trip tothe Cape town. Next post about Africa will be about trip to Kruger park, you shouldn´t miss that.
