I should buy that mug or T- Shirt saying that because it is true. Krakow is a beautiful city, it is not so far from Olomouc but still we had to change trains like 3 times(for the first time it was near the borders were we went into a polish train which was like billion years old, haha. And then in Poland we should have like 3 mins to change the train but the other train didnt wait for us so we had to take another and change it for 2 times later) But still it was quite nice journey. In 7 hours we were there. We took a cab to the guesthouse where we were accomodated beucase we thought that is quite far well it turns that we were really really close to the train station. And we were in the heart of Krakow for almost no money(420PLN for 3 people/2 nights inlcuding breakfast). The accomodation was really nice and comfy, if we go to Krakow again, we have to go there. On Friday(the day we´ve arrived) we went to the mall to buy some food and check some clothing which we dont have here in Olomouc and we have noticed that those poland people does have a really great taste in clothing, I was pretty surprised!I have to admit that they had the same pattern in a sense like: skinny jeans, vans shoes, longer top, jacket, scarf. But still- simple and pretty. No socks in sandals like here. So good job, people! Well the Friday was a sightseeing day, we went to a main square and had some chill because we were quite tired from the whole journey. On Saturday we went soon in the morning to a tattoo convention which was the reason why we were in Krakow. There we met with other czech friends so after some time it wasnt so boring at all( well for me , guys didnt have a time for being bored, they were doing tattoos all day long). I met some really nice people there and met the tattoo artists I knew only from a facebook so it was a pleasure to meet them and actually talk to them, not only "like" their work, haha. We went from the convention in 10 pm and went to a Hard rock cafe were was held the official after party. It was too damn full so we went to a hardcore(?) show and there we met a czech band, what a coincidence. They are called
Drom and they are really good. More than that. Me and Lenny have both bought a cd to support them. At 3am we had a falafel, then George tried on my extra hair which was super fun and we went to sleep(me and lenny on a couch because the bed was too soft). Early in the morning I went with girls to a well known flea market, which was so amazing. It was in a Jewish part of a town and the architecture there was nice. We had a breakfast and then we did a little shopping. It was so crazy. Everyting so great and cheap! total madness. So we bought a 1 thing! Can you believe this? I cant . Then we were hanging out on a little pier on a Wisla river, fed some ducks and pingeons and then we went to convention again. In the evening me, Lenny and George went home by a train with beds which felt like going in a train in India, haha. But it was a comfy ride and totally worth for the extra 13 euro. looks like so much fun! I always want to visit Poland, it's supposed to be really nice! x
OdpovědětVymazatIt was a great trip! Poland is a very nice place to visit, only thing which made me a little mad was that they are really religious. Not that fact but that we wanted to go shopping on sunday to a superhuge mall and it was some kind of christian festival that day and it was closed! we were so surprised because in czech the malls are open even on christmas eve, haha. And we were saving money all the time for the big shopping on sunday and then this happened. Great! :D
